Intelligent Vision Automation Platform (IVAP)

Transform unstructured visual data into deterministic physical control. By converging Edge AI vision with Agentic reasoning, IVAP drives automated execution directly through your PLC and SCADA system

System Components

Architecture & Data Flow

IVAP does not just "see" and "alert". It observes, understands context, reasons about the optimal response, and autonomously executes physical commands across a 3-phase pipeline.

Perception

The Edge

Video Ingestion

Handles low-light, thermal imaging, and high-vibration environments

Vision AI Pipeline

Optimized CV models (YOLO-v9 / Segmentation) process streams locally

Metadata Extraction

Structured JSON/MQTT metadata (bounding boxes, anomaly scores)

Reasoning

The Brain

Context Fusion

GenAI engine (multi-modal LLM) receives the metadata stream

Agentic Framework

The AI fuses the visual anomaly (e.g., a pool of liquid) with the SCADA historian data (e.g., Pump 3 pressure drop) to eliminate false positives.".

Decision Engine

The agent reasons through the data and determines action based on predefined safety guardrails

Execution

The Muscle

Protocol Translation

Industrial middleware translates AI commands into field-level protocols (OPC UA, Modbus TCP, PROFINET)

OT Actuation

PLC / SCADA Control

Human-in-the-Loop

Logs incident report with visual proof and reasoning chain for post-incident review
Application 1

Zero-Defect Packaging in F&B

With manufacturing scaling rapidly to meet demands, maximizing Output Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is paramount. Consider a high-speed bottling line running at 600 bottles per minute where a capping machine goes slightly out of alignment.

Traditional SCADA systems might flag a torque drop eventually, but IVAP acts autonomously within milliseconds.

1

Edge Vision Detects

High-speed edge cameras observe that caps on every 5th bottle are misaligned by a few millimeters.

2

Sensor Fusion (SCADA)

Simultaneously, torque sensors on the capping machine report slightly lower-than-normal resistance via OPC UA.

3

Agentic AI Reasoning

The Agentic AI correlates the visual defect with the torque sensor drop. It queries its TimescaleDB history and Qdrant manual vectors to reason that the capping head tensioner has vibrated loose.

Autonomous Action

IVAP safely sends real-time micro-adjustments to the servo motor PLC to increase the capping torque on the fly, fixing the issue before a single batch is scrapped. If the defect persists, agent safely halts the line and alerts the operator.

Application 2

Smart Interlocks in Maritime Ports

Highly automated maritime ports require precise coordination between massive autonomous cranes, trucks, and human workers. Consider an automated straddle carrier moving a container when a contractor accidentally walks out of the designated pedestrian zone.

Traditional geofencing might alert too late, but IVAP acts autonomously within milliseconds to prevent a fatal collision.

1

Edge Vision Detects

Crane cameras instantly spot a worker walking into the danger "swing zone" of the suspended load.

2

Sensor Fusion (SCADA)

Simultaneously, the crane's control system confirms the load is actively swinging overhead at high speed.

3

Agentic AI Reasoning

The agent calculates the trajectory of both the human and the crane load. It recognizes a critical safety violation that traditional geofencing missed.

Autonomous Action

IVAP safely writes directly to the crane's safety PLC to execute a controlled emergency brake. It then logs the video snippet and worker ID into the MES for an automated compliance review.
